Shipping within Australia // 

Flat rate shipping of $10 for all states except Western Australia.

Western Australia Flat Rate $15.

Rest of world - We currently ship to the USA, New Zealand and Canada.

We use a courier service so please note we prefer not to use a PO BOX - however if this is your only option please advise via email.  Thank you in advance.

All parcels will be left at your door without a signature.

Delivery Times // 

We send all our Australian orders via Shippit or Australia Post.  We do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible, usually packed within 24 to 48 business hours. 

Australia Standard Shipping: Domestic delivery within 3-7 business days in National Metropolitan areas (Regional areas, QLD and WA orders can take slightly longer.)

Australia Express Shipping: We currently use Australia Post, please refer to their website for express shipping timeframes to your area. Orders are shipping from Mornington, VIC 3931


Returns // 

Thank you so much for your purchase. If for some reason you require a return, exchange or refund, please email us within 7 days of receiving the item and we will assist you in your return.

You can return your goodies if they fit the below criteria:

~ They are in a unused original condition.

~ You contact us within 7 days of delivery.


Unfortunately the below items cannot be returned for exchange or refund:

~ You have purchased with a discount code of any type at any time.

~ You don't have a receipt that had been provided by The Commonfolk

~ Gift Cards.


If you have received 'Free Shipping' on your original order, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

The Commonfolk is not responsible for any shipping costs of a return and therefor cannot accept any responsibility for missing, stolen or damaged in transit returns. 

Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Damaged goods //

Unfortunately we are posting a delicate product and from time to time the glass may break. We sincerely apologise if this happens to you. We take great care in packing them, however can not predict how they are handles along the way. If your candle is broken upon delivery, please email us a photo along with your oder number/invoice and we will happily post another one out to you immediately at our cost.

Exchange //

We can exchange goods, however good must be posted back at your own cost and will cost $10 for a returned package.  For change of mind or if an incorrect order has been received or good are damaged. Please email us order number and details and we will guide you on the return and you may choose from a replacement or refund. Please allow up to 10 working days (usually sooner) once your return has been received. Don't forget to let us know which item you require for the exchange. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


Refund //

Should you require a refund for damaged good or if you are unhappy, please email us your name and order number, along with the reason and we will email you instructions of returning the item. Please allow 5-10 working days for us to process your refund once we have received delivery back. Refunds will be made into the original account you paid with less shipping costs.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and not damaged.
